Paris Fashion Week S/S25

I don’t think I’ve mentioned this but when I say I’ve saved a look to my board, in reference to a fashion show, it’s my Vogue “Outfits I Love 2024” board. While I like to get micro and hyper-specific with Pinterest, I think with the Vogue app and fashion week shows, it’s easier to manage with one board. Watched and flipped through way more shows than this, of course, but here are 9 shows that caught (or didn’t) my eye!

Acne Studios: First, the model looks like Damiano from Maneskin- had to get that off my chest. For some reason, I’m really loving this collection. I don’t know why, it’s not necessarily my style, but I would wear any of the pants in this collection and I’m in love with the squared, sharp shoulders in the last few looks. I would love to feel them in person. Visually, they look really texturally diverse and would love to confirm/deny in real life. (to the right)

Lemaire: Sleek. The double denim looks are delicious. I’ve never been to Berlin, but I feel like this collection is a mix of what I think Berlin, New York and like somewhere in Scandinavia. Saved a few looks to my board!

Wales Bonner: From what I’ve seen of Wales Bonner, this collection was a departure from their usual athletic meets business aesthetic. The cropped raincoats and knit sweater fell flat for me and that was a large portion of the collection.

Amiri: The 70s is one of my favorite decades of fashion so this collection was a hit for me. Some of the looks feel Chanel inspired. The color scheme is delicious, and they did pattern mixing really tastefully. (to the right)

Hed Mayner: I liked a lot of the silhouettes in this collection but what was distracting me the whole time was how wrinkled the linen-looking pieces were. I have to be under the assumption that it was intentional but personally, I find it a weird choice. Had dystopian, Dune-esque vibes. Would have liked it a lot more if the pieces were steamed beforehand, just saying!

Maison Mihara Yasuhiro: I don’t know much about this brand but there were some really cool visual allusions, like jeans that weren’t actually on the body and button-down shirts that were made to look like dresses falling off the body. However, it was outerwear heavy for a spring/summer collection.

Loewe: Truthfully, on the first watch I didn’t love the collection. I think the feather facial accessories were throwing me off. After looking at it a couple more times, it’s starting to grow on me! Reading Jonathan’s inspiration behind the collection also helped. That’s the thing about Jonathan Anderson; even when you don’t see the genius on first view, you’ll eventually get there.

Sacai: I think this is one of my favorite collections of this season. The knit double zip sweaters are to die for. However, I will say there were a few too many brown looks in the second half and they looked a little non-distinguishable. (down below)

Kidsuper: Yeah, this show ate down. It was theatrical, boundary-pushing, cohesive- it’s categorized as menswear but so many of these looks I would wear. I loved Alton Mason starting the show, his character and online persona fit the vibe so well. (to the right)
